Sunset in Teluk Bayur

This might not be my best sunset shot. I was in Teluk Bayur beach in Padang, intended to shoot sunset but apparently it did not turn out as expectation. So I took the shot in a bluish custom WB and then changed it to like sunset color in PS.

the colours creates a lot of mood. The sun splits the image in two and this creates drama (good drama) to the image with the colours.

The Lovers, The Dreamers and Me

Do you remember the time

Sunset in Clouds

capturing sunset/sunrise is about timing coz you only have a couple of seconds to take the best moment and mostly i do not know when it happen. ready in place in advance in the best bet.

this picture taken by my friend Akiko, she call me at the office to join her get some shot. but i knew that i might be to late, because she already said that the sunset looks so great. it were not last for few seconds. so i just went there without my camera.

Sunset that I will remember

This is another sunset shot taken from White Rock – I think I took over 15 sunset shots from white rock beach. I have already posted 3 of those. I don’t get tired of posting or taking sunset pictures :P

Sunset after a thunder storm

Great sunsets will always occur when you are out walking the dogs and have reached your farthest point from home and your camera gear.
They will occur when you are having friends over for barbeque and it would be rude to dash off with your gear.
They will occcur when you are out of film and will continue until the film arrives.
When you are prepared and your camera is set up and waiting, they will occur on the distant horizon, just beyond the longest focal length lens you have available.
The only way to get a decent sunset is to fool the Sunset Gods. Hide your gear and pretend you don't care. The Gods, thinking you are not paying attention, will send a great sunset. Grab your camera and shoot.
